Children Science Festival (CSF) is a unique and most popular program of Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha. It is an occasion for children to get together and engage in learning. We can say that CSF is also a school - but with a difference from the usual ones. By this festival we want to create fraternal relationship among the students of all communities i.e. sensation of national integration. CSF is to make the learning process joyful, to make the children imaginative and creative. An observant mind can be created though this festival among the children. The basic objective of this program is to inculcate science inquisitiveness and scientific temper to the younger generation.

There are three kinds of activities during the festival/activity

• Corner activities [AMADER DESH, SRISTI (CREATIVITY), KRISTI (CULTURAL), ANKIK (MATHEMATICS), SWASTHA-O-PARIBESH (HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT), KHELA GHAR (GAMES), PARIKSHAN (EXPERIMENTATION)].
• Outdoor activities [BIKSHAN (NATURE STUDY)]
• Off campus activities - Every child participating in CSF is either a host or a guest - through this process cultural exchange occurred and a sense of integrity developed
